| We will only deal with Spiral wire ropes and strands, Standard wire ropes, Same-pitch wire ropes, Non-rotating wire ropes and Forming wire ropes. The core of the wire rope can be made, either from steel (normally a strand or a simple wire rope made up of seven strands), or from organic or synthetic textile fibres.
